Now Know Myself class in Austin, Texas, July 2018

I just got back to Sweden after spending some time in the US – among other things I participated in the awesome Now Know Myself class in Austin, with Wayne Hackett, Muriel Carlton and Carlos Gutterres – the NKM-class is always different, depending who is in it, and who the instructors are, so as always in classes, there will be some aha-moments

Next chance for a NKM-class will be in Münich, Germany 31 oct – 4 nov, with Anita Willoughby and Waltraud Riegger-Krause
And next chance in the US will be in Green Bay, WI, 10-14 april 2019, with Jill Marie Pasquinelli and Cynthia Broshi
And also Boston, MA 6-10 nov 2019, with Wayne Hackett Carlos Gutterres and Sara Harper.

Jin Shin Jyutsu classes with Jed Schwartz, Oct 2017 – March 2019

I’ve been to a 5 day class with Jed a couple of years ago, it was a very good class, Jed is a really great instructor, of course, but the thing that’s sticking in my mind after that class is the surroundings, the venue and to get there, it was an adventure 🙂 But that’s the charm of going/traveling to classes! This class was taking place in rural Spain, in between Valencia and Alicante.
Skärmavbild 2017-10-13 kl. 00.03.30.pngSkärmavbild 2017-10-13 kl. 00.00.56.png

and since Jed also has a part of his practice in New York City, I have tried to get a session with him several times when I have been in New York, but he is really a busy bee, his schedule is booked well in advance, so I haven’t been able to get a session yet 🙂 maybe next time…
Here are the words about him from the jsjinc.net website:

https://www.jsjinc.net/bio.php?id=17

Jed Schwartz has been a Physical Therapist since 1977 specializing in pediatric rehabilitation. He began studying Jin Shin Jyutsu in 1981 with Mary Burmeister and has been working with Jin Shin Jyutsu exclusively since 1987. He joined the faculty of Mary’s organization Jin Shin Jyutsu Inc, in 1995. Since then he has taught Jin Shin Jyutsu classes throughout North and South America, Europe, Middle East and Asia.

Jed maintains a full time JSJ practice that he splits between NYC and Woodstock, NY where he lives with his wife, Lois

and here you can fins his classes:

https://www.jsjinc.net/instructor-courses.php?id=17

This class has already been taking place, but it is an interesting special topic class, and it seems like they have been giving the class a couple of times now, so keep an eye open for the next chance when this class is happening again:

Jin Shin Jyutsu organizers meeting in Seebruck, Germany (June 2015)

I have been out traveling for some weeks now, just got back to Sweden – my first stop on my journey was at the JSJ organizers meeting in Germany, where Claire Boelhouwers and myself were having a good time, meeting many of the other organizers from Europe, and a lot of the teachers. And of course David Burmeister was also there.
I want to thank Mona Harris for a very nice event, it’s not easy to pull of all the logistics for that amount of people, she managed to find a very nice venue, and make sure in good time that we had our hotel rooms booked, and had a pick-up service at the train, among other things 🙂
And next year the meeting will take place in England, I am looking forward to that too!

One of the things that is good about these meetings is that many of the teachers are there, so we can plan ahead for classes, meeting teachers we haven’t met before, to check out if it’s possible to invite them to our little country up here in the north of Scandinavia, to talk about scheduling and other things. I want to give you some links to the teachers classes, so you can check out their schedules for yourself:

Mona Harris (Germany) has been to Sweden several times, for a 5 day class, a selthelp class and a study group, and I have also been to a 5 day class with her in Denmark:
https://www.jsjinc.net/instructor-courses.php?id=27

Ian Harris (Scottsdale, Arizona) has been to Sweden once for a 5 day class – and when I was in Scottsdale last December I got several JSJ sessions with Ian:
https://www.jsjinc.net/instructor-courses.php?id=20

https://www.jsjinc.net/bio.php?id=20

Mattthias Roth (Germany) haven’t been with us yet, but we really want him to come, when we can make it possible:
https://www.jsjinc.net/instructor-courses.php?id=35
and here’s his websiteadress:
http://www.matthiasjsj.de/site/

Carlyse Smyth (England) will be the next teacher to come to Sweden, we are in the process of scheduling a self-help class and a 5 day class, coming up during this year, and next spring:
https://www.jsjinc.net/instructor-courses.php?id=51

Anita Willoughby – we want her to come too, she might be the next teacher to come to Sweden after Carlyse, we are in the process of scheduling her too… and I’ve been to a pulse listening/body reading class with her in Germany, and I also have been getting a session with her in New York City
https://www.jsjinc.net/bio.php?id=10

https://www.jsjinc.net/instructor-courses.php?id=10
and you can find her in New York City:

Nathalie Max (France) was with us, teaching a 5 day class last May:
https://www.jsjinc.net/bio.php?id=47

https://www.jsjinc.net/instructor-courses.php?id=47

Jennifer Holmes (New Zealand) – it might be a little bit too far for her to come to Sweden, but she has a daughter in Europe, so it might happen anyway 🙂 and since I like to travel, I might go to New Zealand for a class with her, it’s fun to go visit where you know people..
https://www.jsjinc.net/bio.php?id=52

https://www.jsjinc.net/instructor-courses.php?id=52

Chus Arias (Spain) – i tried to go to a class recently in Singapore with her, but it wasn’t possible at that time.. but since she is in Spain it wouldn’t be too difficult to find a class with her a little bit closer to where I am:
https://www.jsjinc.net/instructor-courses.php?id=123

Petra Elmendorff (Germany) – I was at 5 day class with her in Denmark a couple of years ago:
https://www.jsjinc.net/instructor-courses.php?id=15

Birgitte Meinhardt (Germany) – haven’t been to a class with her yet, since the language of most of her classes will be in German (with one class translated into French) – but if you know German it can be nice to go to her classes:
https://www.jsjinc.net/instructor-courses.php?id=11

Waltraud Riegger-Krause (Germany) – I have been to a 5 day class with her in England, and also a self-help class in Denmark:
https://www.jsjinc.net/instructor-courses.php?id=13
Waltraud also wrote the book/flash cards “Health is in Your Hands, you can find more information about that here:

And here are some photos from the venue in Germany:

My travels with Jin Shin Jyutsu :-)

I am on my way to the south of Germany, leaving tomorrow – the yearly gathering of all the European JSJ organizers is going to take place in Seeon this year, this time it is Mona Harris that is organizing this event. I am looking forward to this event, to meet all the nice people, talking about Jin Shin Jyutsu and planning ahead, and also exchanging treatments.
IMG_0579I have been to several of Mona’s classes, and can really recommend her, she has a lot of interesting topics on her plate, on the jsjinc website you can find the topics “Textures” and “Trinity flows” as well as the usual 5 day class, self help classes, mentoring and “Living the art”. You can find information about her classes her:
https://www.jsjinc.net/instructor-courses.php?id=27
(
the photo is from a class in Uppsala, Sweden, with our good Norwegian friends Hanne and Anja, and Mona to the right)

Last year I was in Paris, the organizers meeting took place there at that time, and Nathalie Max was organizing, a very nice event. And we had the good fortune to have Nathalie with us here in Sweden for a 5 day class just last May, also a very nice experience, I (and many with me at the class) particularly liked her way of teaching and approaching the pulse listening, so if you have a chance to go to her classes, it’s nice to spend a class with her.

Here’s some information about Nathalie:
https://www.jsjinc.net/bio.php?id=47
and here’s information about her classes:
https://www.jsjinc.net/instructor-courses.php?id=47
she has also some interesting topics on her plate:
“The 12 Organ Function Energy and the Lumbar Circle”
“The Heart Function Energy through Text 1 & 2”. What does it represent? Where is it located? Which are its various relationships to pulse listening. The story of a small picture becoming the history of the big picture.
“Body Reading and Pulse Listening”
and of course mentoring, Living the art, Now Know Myself, and so on…

After the weekend in Seeon I am going straight on to Los Angeles, where I am going to participate in a class about “Cause and Effect”, with Wayne Hackett – I have been in several classes with him, it’s always interesting! He is one of the senior instructors, and have been studying a long time with Mary Burmeister,  I take every chance I can to learn from the instructors that have been with Mary a long time.
Here’s the information about him:
